Politician, academician, and writer Kürşad Zorlu was born on April 9, 1977, in Yozgat. His father, Bahri Zorlu, served as the mayor of Yerköy from MHP between 1994-2004.

Completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Yozgat, Kürşad Zorlu graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration at Selçuk University. He became a professor and the head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Between 2011-2013, he was a member of the Ahilik Research Center, Employment Board, and SME Project Management Board. In November 2019, he was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bozok University. Holding the title of associate professor in the fields of management and strategy, Kürşad Zorlu has worked as a professor at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.

He joined the GOOD Party on October 19, 2022, and on the same day, he was appointed as the spokesperson of the GOOD Party and chief advisor to the party leader.

Following the 3rd Ordinary Congress of the GOOD Party held in 2023, he was appointed as the Head of Media Relations at the GOOD Party.

Fluent in English and Kazakh, Zorlu is married and the father of three children.
